WVU recently secured an ADVANCE grant from the National Science Foundation.
This grant is special because it focuses on transforming the institutional culture to be more supportive and nurturing of female faculty in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines to ensure that they reach their full potential.
Ultimately, success in this endeavor will lead to greater success of the faculty in research, teaching, and service.
In February the ADVANCE Center launched the newly designed Lactation Network
We are pleased to announce our 2012 Scholarships and Awards available to students and faculty in women’s and gender studies and related fields.
This year, we have several awards for returning women students, students in math and sciences, graduate students, and faculty.
The application deadline is Wed., March 21, 2012.
