Breaking down the barriers

WVU was fortunate to secure an ADVANCE grant from the National Science Foundation. This grant focuses on transforming the institutional culture to be more supportive and nurturing of excellent female faculty in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines.

Eventually, the ADVANCE project will improve our understanding of barriers to large-scale organizational transformation.
